NewView Oklahoma – formerly Oklahoma League for the Blind – is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1949 with a mission to empower people who are blind and visually impaired to achieve their maximum level of independence through employment, rehabilitation and community outreach.

Provides rehabilitation services statewide.Our highly skilled workforce produces a diverse and expanding line of durable, high-quality products relied on by the U.S. Military, state and federal government agencies and private industry. Proceeds from manufacturing cover 95 percent of our total operating expenses. We rely on grants, and donations from individuals and corporate citizens for the remaining 5 percent. We are located in downtown Oklahoma City at 501 N. Douglas Ave. Our facility was formerly a working brewery for the Progress Lone Star Brewing companies. Lone Star generously sold the building to us in1973, for one dollar. Guided “Envision Us” tours are offered on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Reservations are required.
