EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
Ray Crowder
OLB is proud to feature Ray Crowder. Ray grew up in Oklahoma and attended the Parkview School for the Blind, Muskogee, Oklahoma. After graduation Ray received a degree in mass communications from East Central University followed by recording classes at Rose State College. Ray grew up playing music with his family and his life revolves around his love of music. He later worked as a recording engineer until his eyesight declined. For the past two years, Ray has been employeed by OLB in the hose department, assembling hoses for the United States Forestry Service. Ray says, “The products made by OLB make a difference in society as well as an economic difference. I am proud to be a part of the team at OLB.”
Ray recently represented OLB at a public policy forum in Washington, D.C. sponsored by National Industries for the Blind. “We were well received by state legislators.” said Ray. Part of Ray's future plans includes involvement in helping to expedite political issues through legislature.
