A: NewView Oklahoma is located near downtown Oklahoma City just 2 blocks west of the intersection of N.W. 4th and Western at 501 N. Douglas Avenue.

A: Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m Monday through Friday
Blindness In Oklahoma
Q: How many Oklahomans are blind or visually impaired?
A:
Approximately 50,000 Oklahomans are currently classified as legally blind, and another 500,000 have been diagnosed with eye diseases which lead to blindness or significant vision loss.
Q: What are the leading causes of blindness?
A:
The leading causes of blindness are cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa. Macular degeneration is the leading cause of severe vision loss for people older than 60.
Operations
Q: How is NewView Oklahoma funded?
A: Ninety-eight percent of our operating budget is derived directly from the sale of ‘blind-made’ products and its services; two percent comes from private contributions. Donations are critical and allow OLB to expand existing programs and identify new opportunities.
