Our Products
NewView Oklahoma -- formerly Oklahoma League for the Blind -- has been a respected member of the Oklahoma business community for six decades, generating a positive economic impact of more than $25 million annually for Oklahoma County. We are an approved Employment Network, an official business incubator for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and have consistently been the leading employer of people who are blind and visually impaired in Oklahoma.
We currently provide more than 100 jobs through in-house manufacturing, and a growing number of service contracts with major employers at the local, state and federal level. Business services include secure mailing, switchboard and call center management, accounting, data entry, warehousing and inventory control and wholesale distribution.
Our manufacturing floor is divided into five primary industrial units, each capable of expanding and adapting to add new products and services to our current offerings.
Hose Production – We produce a variety of hose types for personal and commercial use. Refurbishing and repair services available.
Featured: Fire Hoses – NewView Oklahoma is the primary supplier of fire hoses for the U.S. Forest Service.
Industrial Woodworking – Employees are trained to use industrial-grade saws and equipment to produce and assemble a variety of raw and finished products.
Featured: Aircraft Wheel Chocks – Approximately 30,000 are produced each year for the U.S. Military.
Kitting – We have years of experience with government contracts and management of products through a full range of fulfillment, including identifying vendors, shipment and warehousing of raw materials, packaging, assembly and shipment. Capabilities also include vacuum and heat sealing for food items to USDA standards.
Featured: First Aid Kits – We produce a full line of high-quality, sterile first aid kits in sizes ranging from individual kits to industrial 50-person kits used by fire and police departments.
Vinyl Conversion – Capable of transforming vinyl into a number of useful items for commercial and individual use with specialized equipment for tasks such as cutting, heat sealing and grommets. Radio frequency welding.
Featured: Shower Curtains – Thousands of pounds of raw vinyl is converted each year into shower curtains used by universities, hospitals and government agencies.
Universal Waste Recycling – We benefit businesses and the environment through our Certified Universal Waste Recycling capability.
Featured: Fluorescent light bulbs, cell phones and batteries.
