NewView Oklahoma is proud to offer some exciting new opportunities for individuals interested in learning about adaptations to vision loss. In order to create an opportunity for both learning new skills and networking, we have developed a curriculum of courses that are designed to focus on specific needs as well as creating an opportunity for visually impaired individuals to network with one another.
Our vision rehabilitation staff has selected the current classes to respond to the areas of need that many of our clients have identified as barriers to employment or increased quality of life. See below for course descriptions. Each course has a nominal fee to cover the cost of supplies and materials.

We have limited the number of participants in each class to ensure that each individual has quality instruction. If we see that the classes are full the student can enroll in the next class or we will create another class to accommodate the need. Each class has a specific start date and end date to enable participants to plan ahead. If a student needs specialized instruction the instructor will make an appointment to address any concerns.
